great app. works fine with VLC as a client. I would change the way folders are shared. Instead of clicking on + first and then choose the folder, allow drag and drop from finder to the share tab. thumbs up!

Very simple but does what it says. Works well with XBMC on an AppleTV 2.

Does not work on the PS3.. it will connect through wi-fi but shows error code (800) when you try to access it off from the XMB.. I have looked into this problem further and it is a problem with the Media Share application and not the PS3 Firmware.. save your money until this problem is fixed.. I will re-post when the problem is solved..

I use MediaShare with my Apple TV (XBMC), the moment I start browsing added directory, MediaShare quits itself. This happened everytime I tried.

Working on OSX Lion, sharing to XBMC. Would be nice if there was an option to remove from dock and only show in upper right task bar though.

Purchased this app a few hours ago , Media share has worked flawlessly so far , I have to say I was skeptical buying this app because of the issues of I have had with finding a decent UpNp server that I can stream movies from my Mac to my iPad connected using an adapter with HDMI out than streaming movies /music etc to my Home theatre amp that is connected to my LCD TV .. With previous UpNp servers that I have tried , I have had issues of terrible lag to no picture to incompatibility issues etc , After buying the ace player from the App Store in Itunes on sale ,and their suggestion of buying Media share and ace player being compatible , Everything has worked great so far , 5 stars and a well deserved thank you for allowing me to stream movies to my TV without any issues .. so far ..

I really like that this app is simple, with no “fluff” (like adding all the pseudo-folders eg “By Genre” or “Recently Viewed”) and I don’t care that it doesn’t transcode or anything fancy. I just want a DLNA server that lists my media, the folder structure I have now is perfectly adequate. Sadly, the server won’t stay running- it either quits after some inactivity (not too sure) or as soon as a client starts browsing (experienced this several times with a few clients) If it could be de-bugged this would be an ideal, basic app.

Just doesn’t work. No files can be played that I can play through another dlna server.

This application does NOT work.PS3 shows "DLNA protocol erorr". (Under same network condition, other DLNA server software can work.)

Downloaded and installed, added files and folders but nothing shows on Xbox360. No Help available. Looks like bum app that Apple approved. Running MBA, latest OS and Xbox360 up-to-date. Stay away. Return my $ Apple.

iPhoneアプリの「FusionStream」というソフトで一覧表示させて再生できました。 PS3ではまだ試していません。 .swf ファイルは再生できなかったが、MP4ファイルは再生できた。 気をつけたい点は、特定デバイスだけに送信はできないこと。（誰でも登録したメディアを閲覧できてしまう）

Doesnt work with my Samsung TV (LE32B652). TV can see folders and most of files (avi, m4v, ..), but cant play them. Ive lost three bucks :(

Doesnt support my BD player Samsung. DLNA technology not supported also.

Минималистическое приложение, правда посмотреть видео на моем Samsung ue40d6530ws не получилось. Говорит что форматы не верные. Хотя другие серверы без проблем передают видео практически любого формата. Minimalist application, however watch the video on my Samsung ue40d6530ws failed. He says that the format is not correct. While other servers without problems transfer almost any video format.

perfectly works on samsung tv but: - cant pause - cant navigate on time whats all folks!

I paid for this and it is absolute garbage. This is a horrible app, please dont waste your money on it, I did and I really wish I hadnt.

Doesnt work on devices such as WIndows Media Player. I WAS able to stream video on my PC via XBMC which was my goal for running media on my XBOX.
